Alcoholism the 5 phases of recovery which I went through. These are the 5 phase s of my recovery after alcoholism. Basically some of landmarks and goals I set myself. All this came into mind one afternoon when I decided this alcoholism was sufficient and I had to get sober. I believe everyone who stops drinking at some point in there life has this cent fall moment and the realised was enough. For me having been residing in bed for several weeks and having nearly exhausted every avenue for help. This time was because of me.
I detoxed for 7 days before then proceeded into a halfway house. (I was intended to say from the video 7 day complete detox then I had been moved into rehab/halfway home - I said 3. It had been 7 complete days sober).
I talk publicly about my struggles with alcohol and run you through a number of the stages of my recovery from alcoholics standpoint. .
Phase 1 - Take Responsibility for yourself and your actions going forward.Make a strategy and stick to it and look back to start dwelling on the past as your own going through your alcohol recovery. You have to move on with your lifeout of alcoholism and into recovery. Start being greedy. This time is for you and nobody else make the most of it. Look after yourself and treat yourself. This time is only going to come once, so cherish it.
Phase 2 Followed the strategy that I had made to stop drinking alcohol. Never deviate from the strategy. The only person who had been in my manner was me. This will be the exact same for you. Break through this barrier and only do what you have proposed. Try this you will be amazed how successful it is.
Stage 3 - Halfway home and exercise/fitness Once I got myself recognized in my new home I began to concentrate on m fitness and health after alcoholism. This was not too hard to perform believe it or not. They were two people in the alcohol rehabilitation unit which were chefs. Fundamentally when people used to go to the place. For example a relative. They always used to state something along the lines. This area is like a holiday camp with no alcohol. Or We would state in the UK it like Butlins minus the beer.
Period 4 - Mental Health back on order. You have to start working o your psychological health after alcoholism to sobriety. It will get very confusing having an alcoholic and when you quit drinking fog settles and its only then can you determine what work needs to be done emotionally and physically
Getting back yourself into work and getting established in a home and apartment on the outside (so to speak) is a bit of a daunting undertaking. To some men and women who had never lived independently or never actually had to look after their finances. Alcoholism recovery and getting back into retrieval goes hand in hand. When you stop drinking and you also get sober you need to actually work at getting yourself out 5 stages of alcoholism recovery there in society.
